Por ello, a partir de septiembre de 2020, el Comité Olímpico y Deportivo Regional de Pays de la Loire junto con la Real Federación Española de Salvamento y Socorrismo, la Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo y el Comité de Deportes Náuticos del Atlántico han decidido poner en marcha el Programa de Igualdad de Género y Proyecto de responsabilidad en los deportes acuáticos (GREW).
