These concerns are consistent with the problems of today's society.If it allows the youngest to experience "exceptional adventures", advancing in age, they offer the prospect of a gentler physical practice, centered on the development of personal well-being.
The project "Development of Atlantic Watersports Network - D.A.W.N. " allowed to create an in the Atlantic Area an internationally recognized network of excellence for the sustainable development of water sports, and to establish a relevant and sustainable structure for the coordination of sports nautical activities in the Atlantic region named the Atlantic Watersports Committee.

É por isso que, a partir de setembro de 2020, o Comitê Regional Olímpico e Desportivo do País do Loire com a Real Federación Española de Salvamento y Socorrismo, a Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo e o Comitê de Esportes Náuticos do Atlântico decidiram lançar o Gender Equality and Projeto Accountability in Water Sports (GREW).
